Dynamic Gauge Charts in Dashboards
Despite the fact that the technology is still in beta, Salesforce adds Dynamic Gauge Charts to the Dashboard in the Winter'22 Release. In order to make use of the chart, it is necessary that the Dynamic Gauge Chart checkbox be enabled in the Reports and Dashboards Settings.
There are two modes:
Standard - the default mode which requires to input values for each segment
Dynamic - the new mode which divides each segment by its percent of goal
New Fields Inline Editing in Salesforce Reports
Another interactive feature of Salesforce Reports and Dashboards is Inline Editing in Reports. Prior to this release, inline editing was restricted to Text and Numeric fields. Now, the user may alter the Date, Picklist, and Lookup fields by enabling the checkbox Inline Editing in Salesforce Reports.
Using Images in Rich Text Fields in Lightning App Creator
Winter' 22 Release introduces a new approach to Rich Text fields in the Lightning App Builder, enabling the use of pictures.
Keep more personal information fields hidden from external users
Salesforce is now enabling administrators to prevent their users' data from being exposed to external users who are interacting with them via Communities and Portals. When external users get access to user data, the fields are hidden from view.
